When you join our waitlist, we collect:

• Name — so we can address you personally.
• Mobile phone number — to send you SMS updates about your waitlist status.
• Party size (adults and children) — to seat your group appropriately.
• Special requests / notes (optional) — any preferences or accessibility needs you choose to share.

We do not collect payment information, email addresses, or any government-issued identification.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to manage your waitlist entry:

• To confirm your place in the waitlist queue.
• To send you SMS text messages with status updates, including a heads-up that your table will be ready soon and a notification when your table is ready.
• To display your estimated wait time.

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or any purpose other than the waitlist service.

3. SMS / Text Messaging

By providing your mobile phone number and joining the waitlist, you consent to receive text messages (SMS) from Dehaati Restaurant at the number you provide. Message frequency varies — typically 1–3 messages per waitlist visit. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at the information below.

4. Data Retention

Waitlist entries are automatically removed from our active queue after 3 hours. We may retain aggregate, anonymized data (such as average wait times) for operational improvement, but this data cannot be linked back to you personally.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except:

• Twilio, Inc. — our SMS delivery provider, which processes your phone number solely to transmit messages on our behalf.
• Cloudflare, Inc. — our hosting provider, which stores waitlist data in a database on our behalf.
• When required by law or to comply with a valid legal process.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access-controlled databases to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. You can also remove yourself from the waitlist directly on the waitlist page before your table is called.

8. Children's Privacy

Our waitlist service is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the waitlist service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
